Match Report
States United may have nicked this encounter with a 8 - 6 win over Beverge, but the opposition must be kicking themselves that they couldn't capitalise in a similar manner.
Alejandro Aragones must be either as lazy as they come or a blind optimist to think letting Beverge off training will help.
Dwayne Pipes was absent because he'd just had Sky installed and couldn't tear himself away from a fascinating documentary about whale sex.
Warren Piece made sure he was owed a few favours by this Beverge team mates with his 2 goal haul.
The World Cup was but a distant memory today. It was like Brazil hadn't even discovered the game yet with States United's longball game shining through against Beverge's passing style.
Beverge's Alejandro Aragones is clearly deeply in love with 3 4 3. His team however can't stand it. A trial seperation must be in order.
"We were very, very, very poor," admitted Beverge boss Alejandro Aragones. "We are dismal at the moment, but we need to be positive about our prospects."
Is there such a thing as clawing yourselves back from the brink of a draw? Beverge don't care because the fat lady has sung, it's all over, and they lost.
