Match Report |
La Guardia were very good value for what was a very comfortable three points in the account. At 7 - 2, there was little real blasters could do but stand back and marvel. When La Guardia's defence get bored of football they could become Permanent Felt Tips. On today's impressive display they're all Magic Markers. How lame was Lou Sirr's excuse for missing this match? He claimed his non-appearance was due to a dodgy curry. Brice Tagg's odds for scoring the first goal were so generous he couldn't resist a little flutter on himself. He scooped a couple of hundred quid by beating his own keeper. Easy money eh? La Guardia proved defence can be the best form of attack, were patient and used their chances well against real blasters's gung ho play. There are less suitable formations for La Guardia's squad than 4 3 3, but Tony Mckeown would be advised to ignore those too. "We may have rubbed it in his face," La Guardia manager Tony Mckeown said of his defeated opposite number Craig Clark". "But the was a mess of his own making." An unsurprising result perhaps. If real blasters continue to look as keen to offer the opposition three points on plate maybe they should all become waiters. |
