Match Report
Cruising to a comfortable 10 - 4 victory, VDub Club always looked good for the points in this meeting with St Andrews Gunners.
Victoria Rodriguez clearly thinks his team are the most skilled and highly tuned squad around. Why else would training be abandoned like an unwanted puppy?
Not even Sam Pull's primary school teacher would have swallowed the excuse that he missed today's game because he a Sky TV installation.
The goalkeeper's trade is a lonely one. St Andrews Gunners's Al Kaseltzer is going to be shunned by his team mates, making him feel especially lonely, after this shocking performance.
After today Victoria Rodriguez cannot defend his team. And neither, obviously, could his defence.
Richard Cranium and Sheri Cola picked a fight with the biggest guy in the crowd hoping Simon Pieman would end their embarrassment on the pitch. They both took a beating before Simon Pieman stepped in and, out of spite, only booked them.
The animals went into the ark two by two for a very good reason, if there's an explanation why St Andrews Gunners go out in 1 4 5 formation we're still looking for it.
Under pressure St Andrews Gunners boss Victoria Rodriguez told the local press: "I just felt that the whole night, the conditions and taking everything into consideration and everything being equal, and everything is equal, we should have got something from the game - but we didn't."
Back to basics then for St Andrews Gunners who seemed to suffer some sort of collective brain fade when confronted by a game of football.
