Match Report |
The groundsmen are going to be working overtime to repair the penalty areas after Kingsmill Rangers barely left them for the duration of this 12 - 2 massacre of Redhill Rovers. Kingsmill Rangers's defence could all be lazy greengrocers, they sure shut up shop early today. To call the amount of possession Redhill Rovers had small would be doing a disservice to small things everywhere. Except perhaps the brain of their manager who masterminded this useless display. There was no stopping Kingsmill Rangers's Ken Opener who found himself on the scoresheet on 5 separate occasions. Redhill Rovers have lost their shape up front recently. They're strikers are more Lisa Riley than Holly Valance, The boss is meant to shape his team, Redhill Rovers manager Part- Timer does. But 3 2 5 is not the best shape for them. "Nick Newton is the best manager I've ever had at this level. Well, he's the only manager I've actually had at this level. But he's the best manager I've ever had." Artie Choke ranted after this win. How on earth do you stop a team like Kingsmill Rangers on this kind of form? How about digging trenches and shoring up the penalty area with sandbags? |
