Just another day at the office for the impressive Godimgood side who strolled to a 9 - 5 win over South Shields.
Today Godimgood's defence were as hard to pass as the Dog And Duck on Free Lager day.
Bill Board completely forgot he was supposed to be playing football. He spent the morning with that feeling that he'd forgotten to do something… which of course he had.
Xavier Breath added to his haul scoring after the referee over-ruled the linesman when blatantly 30 yards offside to end the match with 4 to his name.
The South Shields forward line is no Arsenal. And no arsenal; they lack any reserves of firepower whatsoever.
The boss is meant to shape his team, South Shields manager Daniel Shell does. But 4 3 3 Attacking is not the best shape for them.
"You can't fault the commitment of the lads," claimed manager Daniel Shell following this defeat. "It was real end-to-end stuff, but unfortunately it was all up at Godimgood's end."
