Match Report

The bitter disappointment at finding themselves once again the losing side is really beginning to show. Many more defeats like this could spell the end for them in this division.
At least Dave Unsworth is saving the fans some money - he's been crossed off all their Christmas card lists after his recent coaching performances.
Lou Briccant*** didn't turn up today due to "a Sky TV installation. " The victory could see him asked to stay away for good.
Attacking was order of the day, good news for Mmmrs Phoenix Pigs, whereas "Play something different" will be order of tomorrow for Team Martin.
Willie Maykit and Leo Tarred were both shown the yellow card after an off the ball incident led to them knocking each other out with a simultaneous headbutt.
Team Martin's Chad Terbocks misses 2 weeks due to a mild concussion.
"You have to love this game after results like that," beamed a delighted Dave F following the match. "If there weren't such a thing as football, these lads would all be frustrated footballers."
The only lesson Mmmrs Phoenix Pigs took from this meeting was one about not counting chickens before they're hatched. They were lucky, one another day they might not be so.
