New Energy were reduced them to blubbering wrecks as the Screaming Vengeance onslaught saw a haul of 18 goals - that's 18 goals - in this 18 - 0 battering.
Screaming Vengeance manager Gavin Stewart pulled off something magic this week. He could be looking at a job offer from Hogwarts.
New Energy couldn't keep fish let alone the ball as this performance adequately showed.
It was such a bad match for New Energy goalie GKP Dida III that, at half time, he asked the ref to check that there was only one ball on the pitch.
An impressive attacking display. Screaming Vengeance are like Jordan, they have plenty of quality up front.
Len DeHand is out of the Screaming Vengeance side for 2 weeks due to a mild concussion.
"The gaffer always tells us a game is not won until it's lost," remarked Len DeHand. "And we didn't lose, did we?"
So near yet so far. All New Energy had to do to secure a draw was score a mere 18 times. Not too much to ask.
