MayFlower Town turned on the magic for a thumping 12 - 4 rout of Tipton City.
The MayFlower Town defence was on form today, as Ashford And Simpson would say "Solid. Solid As A Rock."
Tipton City's Al Kaseltzer missed the game because he was too hungover to play. In fact he was too hungover to stand up. His head was pounding so much he'd actually gone blind.
There must be a reason why Tipton City manager Oluwasegun Emmanuel insists on continuing to play the woeful Len DeHand in goal. His turn out today was truly shocking. Couldn't stop traffic.

Barb Dwyer and Jose Frayed picked a fight with the biggest guy in the crowd hoping Michael McLintock would end their embarrassment on the pitch. They both took a beating before Michael McLintock stepped in and, out of spite, only booked them.
MayFlower Town look about as convinving playing in the 2 5 3 formation as they would if boss Roger Day sent them out in dresses.
"In football, if you stand still you go backwards," manager Roger Day claimed following the win. "To get results like that you have to take the bike by the horns."
So near yet so far. All Tipton City had to do to secure a draw was score a mere 12 times. Not too much to ask.
