Match Report

After taking a humiliating 13 - 4 hiding by Not-So Athletic on the chin at least Girthwood FC can claim to do something with style. Lose.
With little sign of organisation from manager Luke Webb, the key to this game is tactics. The only keys he'll have next match is for the team bus.
As they slipped to this defeat Girthwood FC could have done with Marc Sinon turning up. His no show was due to a car to wash.
Girthwood FC's goalie Nick Clayton did little to thwart Not-So Athletic's attack. In fact he did nothing at all. Crap.
After today Luke Webb cannot defend his team. And neither, obviously, could his defence.
Sure the Brazillian squad could make the Sweeper formation look impressive, Not-So Athletic however make it look very ordinary.
"We were absolutely terrible," huffed Girthwood FC manager Luke Webb after his team's defeat. "We didn't look capable of passing wind out there."
There was only one team with a mountain to climb here and it wasn't the free-scoring Not-So Athletic. They were at the peak, while Girthwood FC struggled with their laces at base camp.
