Match Report |
Despite their best efforts, Hunt Park Rovers couldn't manage a result against Acorn Raiders who just did enough to snatch the 2 - 0 win. Dr Pearson must reassess his training methods - he has nothing to lose. Except probably the next game or six. There was no way past Acorn Raiders goalie Al- Kaholic 556 in this match. Hunt Park Rovers would have needed a tank to get the ball into the back of his net. And if you check the rules you'll see that's not allowed. Hunt Park Rovers kept stretching themselves in their attack allowing Acorn Raiders to retaliate very effectively. Ensuring your best players get to play in their best positions is vital. 2 5 3 was a good stab, unfortunately for Nicholas Carroll most of his squad are best on the bench. Extra staff may be needed in the Acorn Raiders ticket office as it looks like the team are set to continue on this winning run. That things weren't different is not so much wishful thinking on the part of Hunt Park Rovers as half the fun of football. How dull if things went with form all the time? Very. |
