There were some important lessons that Conquerers's manager Elite One should take from their crushing 26 - 0 defeat at the hands of CSI-Westgate on Sea. . . like don't bother.
All those hours after work on Tuesday practising Corners paid off today for CSI-Westgate on Sea.
If possession is nine tenths of the law, Conquerers couldn't get themselves arrested.
Like an unseen episode of The Keystone Cops, chaos reigned in the Conquerers penalty area with Moe Skeeto being the unlucky player who had to watch in horror as the ball bumbled into his own net after he waved a wild leg in its direction.
Conquerers's team looks like a bread sandwich, nothing in the middle. Their midfield hardly got a kick.
There's little question that CSI-Westgate on Sea star Louise Lombard*** deserved his Man Of The Match status.
Much criticised Conquerers manager Elite One looked to defend his tactics: "I strongly feel that the only difference between the two teams were the goals that CSI-Westgate on Sea scored."
