Match Report |
It became clear early on that The Seg shouldn't even be on the same pitch as Dragoon. The 9 - 0 scoreline suggests they weren't actually on the same pitch. Free kicks is clearly an area that needs work in training. Unfortunately for Frankie Merrick so are the team's other five areas. Dragoon's Ken Opener made a non-appearance after his mum and dad insisted he went on holiday to Bridlington with them. He was so embarrassed he just went without telling anyone. With 10 other players on the field it's hard to credit that one man can lose a game on his own. Dragoon's keeper is turning losing matches for his side into an art form. This was mission impossible for Dragoon, especially as their defence refused to accept any challenges that came their way. The boss is meant to shape his team, Dragoon manager Frankie Merrick does. But 4 1 3 1 1 is not the best shape for them. "It was the manner of the defeat that disappointed me," claimed losing manger Frankie Merrick. "But winning all the time is not necessarily good for the team. I think the he way forwards for us is backwards." Losing 9 - 0 has to be a low point for Dragoon. Maybe it'll act as a wake-up call. Judging by this performance though they're very heavy sleepers. |
