Match Report

Not so much a game of football, more shooting fish in a barrel. It was far too easy for CSI-Canterbury whose ball to goal ratio left them looking at a glorious 17 - 0 hammering of Derventio.
With a tactical master class like this it's only a matter of time before CSI-Canterbury manager Brian Gilbert will be writing books on football theory.
Was it Christmas out there? Must have seemed like it to CSI-Canterbury who were gifted possession every time Derventio touched the ball.
Derventio's Dwayne Pipes made quite an impact on the match when he managed to put the ball into his own net.
CSI-Canterbury may as well have erected a traffic light, permanently on red, at the edge of the 18 yard box, so good were the defence today.
The boss is meant to shape his team, Derventio manager marc halls does. But 4 1 4 1 is not the best shape for them.
"Brian Gilbert is the best manager I've ever had at this level. Well, he's the only manager I've actually had at this level. But he's the best manager I've ever had." Liz Vassey ranted after this win.
Results don't get much more convincing than this. CSI-Canterbury looked almost embarrassed at the ease with which they bulged the opposition net. on a mere 17 occasions.
