| If this game lasted any longer than 90 minutes Mobtown FC's goal tally would have resembled a phone number. Red White Wizards are thanking their stars it was only 16 - 0. This game was effectively won in Mobtown FC's training sessions, so polished is their Corners. To call the amount of possession Red White Wizards had small would be doing a disservice to small things everywhere. Except perhaps the brain of their manager who masterminded this useless display. Red White Wizards keeper Walter Melon was so bad it was his own team's fans who started the "you're rubbish" chant whenever he took a goal kick. Red White Wizards's defence is like a bad fisherman. Down the river, too slow to catch anything and keeps forgetting the tackle. After collecting cards like stamps this season, Red White Wizards player Stan Dup was sent off - but not for stamping. The match was abandoned after 81 minutes due to a lack of players, the final score stands. "We were very, very, very poor," admitted Red White Wizards boss Phil Gibson. "We are dismal at the moment, but we need to be positive about our prospects." Even if Red White Wizards were old folks in disguise, they'd probably have faired better at the hands of the rampant Mobtown FC scoring machine. |
