The groundsman was clearly wasting his time when he put the nets up for this dire 0 - 0 draw between CSI-Sandwich and Hertha Legends, two sides who should ask for a donkey and a banjo for Christmas.
Brian Gilbert will be thanking his lucky stars that that he spent time on Corners before this game. Maybe if he'd spent some time on Corners he'd have been celebrating a win.
What do you have to do to beat this guy? CSI-Sandwich keeper Pauley Perrette played a blinder and got a clean sheet as his reward.
Marcelo al. Marcelinho V. and Louise Lombard had an Anglo-Saxon exchange which saw them both shown the yellow card.
Hanne Sobek V.* was brought off by Juergen Roeber but things refused to get any better.
"We're the sort of side who will always weigh up our options, especially when we have no choice," manager Brian Gilbert told reporters. "The tide is very much in our court now."
Anyone who loves being bored to tears would have been in wonderland for this meeting. Everyone else was just left wondering if they could describe the match as a game of football.
