Match Report

Maybe it would be fairest to call clitheroefc's 24 - 0 demolition at the hands of Chumps FC an off day. Maybe it was, but you have to fear for them. Have they got what it takes to bounce back from this?
Tactics? It doesn't look as though clitheroefc boss steve lyne could even manage three Shredded Wheat at the moment.
clitheroefc had so little possession they could have referred Chumps FC to the monopolies and mergers commission.
After clean sheet number 3 for Chumps FC goalie Des Buratto, it was kisses all round in the dressing room. No tongues though, that's disgusting.
When Chumps FC's defence get bored of football they could become Permanent Felt Tips. On today's impressive display they're all Magic Markers.
Like getting your plumber to do the gardening, clitheroefc's steve lyne is wasting a lot of potential by insisting on a 4 4 2 Attacking formation.
"What we saw out there today," explained manager steve lyne, "was a continuance of what we have seen most of the season - that is, various clubs beating each other."
The only way clitheroefc could have hoped to stop this rampant Chumps FC side would have been to arm their defence with shotguns.
