Match Report |
Toe Poke FC will be looking to bounce back quickly after this cruellest of 2 - 0 defeats against DH United. Daniel Houseman, eh? What a manager. Played this victory to tactical perfection. Can he keep it up for the rest of the season? We'll see. What do you have to do to beat this guy? DH United keeper Illan Meslier played a blinder and got a clean sheet as his reward. Hoof! Pumping the ball forward at every opportunity was Daniel Houseman's only tactic. It won over Big Toe's passing style. There's little question that DH United star Sam Byram deserved his Man Of The Match status. Much criticised Toe Poke FC manager Big Toe looked to defend his tactics: "I strongly feel that the only difference between the two teams were the goals that DH United scored." As DH United proved to Toe Poke FC's cost, holding out for a point can leave a nasty taste, especially when it's you that gets bitten. |
