Match Report |
An easy three points for Touchnplay as they almost walked to a 5 - 0 win over Ban-air Bandits. With little sign of organisation from manager Lad X, the key to this game is tactics. The only keys he'll have next match is for the team bus. Ban-air Bandits could save themselves some money next season by not bothering with a goalkeeper. They'd save a fortune on pies alone. Ban-air Bandits's midfield needs attention. They were making less successful passes than a flatulent, acne ridden geek with halitosis at a school disco. Touchnplay's Lou Stooth was the undisputed Man Of The Match today. His performance was show-stealing. "Before we went out there I told the boys that I could see the carrot at the end of the tunnel," Joe Bradley told the gathering press after the match. "You see, I promise results, not promises." The season is a marathon, not a sprint, right? So with Touchnplay winning at a brisk stroll, you have to wonder if they've got what it takes for a marathon, or even a sprint. |
