Match Report |
Jellybellies were clearly off colour during their 3 - 0 defeat by M.I.A. Jelly Belly would be as well giving his squad singing lessons for all the good the Corners training seems to be doing them. Adam Meway decided to give the game a miss because he had hiccups. Some great communication between M.I.A keeper Bernd Leno and his defence resulted in a clean sheet and an impressive result against Jellybellies. This game resembled Pong. Every time Jellybellies got the ball forward, M.I.A would steal it off them and launch a counter attack. The outstanding display today was from Man Of The Match Alphonse Davies he had the kind of game that would make Tina Turner write songs about him. Much criticised Jellybellies manager Jelly Belly looked to defend his tactics: "I strongly feel that the only difference between the two teams were the goals that M.I.A scored." You know you're on the right lines when the opposition look relieved to be put out of their misery. |
