Match Report |
If you score more goals than your opponents, you win matches. It's obviously a bridge too far for Rathpeacon who were lucky to only lose 5 - 0 against Fallen Empires. Does Rathpeacon manager Eamonn Hawe know what the clubs training facilities even looks like? Judging by Rathpeacon 's clueless display we'd guess not. The only hope Rathpeacon have of turning goalie Andy Gravity into a decent keeper is to feed him pies non-stop and hope he puts on enough weight to wedge himself between the posts. What a midfield Fallen Empires have. Rathpeacon didn't get a look in but have plenty brusises as souvenirs. After an agricultural tackle from Andy Structible, the ref had no hesitation in pointing to the spot. Fallen Empires's The Persians didn't hesitate to convert it either. Rathpeacon manager Eamonn Hawe told irate fans: "If it wasn't for their goals, Fallen Empires wouldn't have won." A bad day at the office? It might explain why Rathpeacon were so easily beaten. shouldn't they have been on a football pitch? |
