Jaime Lyn Sigler made CSI-Birchington pay for a lapse in concentration when he scored the winner with a belter from his own half. Those long hours of Corners training are paying off for the CSI-Sandwich players. CSI-Sandwich goalie Pauley Perrette was snapped up as a bouncer for the local nightclub after this game. Nothing was going to get past him. The Use Wings style was all the rage this evening. While CSI-Sandwich was made to measure, CSI-Birchington's was straight off the peg. Only one fitted properly. Substitute Jorga Fox might wish he'd stayed on the bench after picking up an injury. "Winning all the time is not necessarily good for the team," said CSI-Birchington boss Brian Gilbert. "Love is good for the players, so long as it's not at half-time." As CSI-Sandwich proved to CSI-Birchington's cost, holding out for a point can leave a nasty taste, especially when it's you that gets bitten.
