| Losing 2 - 1 is always a hard pill to swallow. CSI-Ramsgate must be choking on theirs after throwing away any advantage they might have had over CSI-Margate. The team's performance is credit to the CSI-Margate manager Brian Gilbert and his decision to send his team Nice rest. It was a good night for fans of the Counter Attack game, especially those who'd come down to shout for CSI-Margate. Liz Vassey was brought off by Brian Gilbert but things refused to get any better. "Before the game," manager Brian Gilbert told reporters, "I made a prediction Ð I said it could go either way. In fact it didn't because we won." Sometimes the beautiful game can seem downright pug-ugly. This was one such occasion. Not so much Cinderella as her very ugly sisters. |
