Lauren Holly's smash and grab raid on the CSI-Sandwich goal not only broke the deadlock, but ensured a useful win by scoring with pin-point accuracy into the far corner for CSI-Canterbury. The CSI-Sandwich fans were calling for the head of manager Brian Gilbert after this game. He at least knows where his head is, unlike his arse or elbow. After CSI-Canterbury keeper Pauley Perrette's clean sheet, surely Sven must be looking to call him up. It takes a good team to play the Counter Attack game effectively, and there was only one of those out on the pitch. Liz Vassey was brought off by Brian Gilbert but things refused to get any better. "I'm not a believer in luck," manager Brian Gilbert told the press following his side's victory, "but I do believe you need it." It's easy to forget what a simple game is football truly is. Thankfully CSI-Canterbury remembered they needed to score more goals than CSI-Sandwich.
