Match Report |
With little separating the sides, CSI-Birchington took full points with a 2 - 0 win over CSI-Broadstairs. The CSI-Broadstairs fans were calling for the head of manager Brian Gilbert after this game. He at least knows where his head is, unlike his arse or elbow. It was a good night for fans of the Counter Attack game, especially those who'd come down to shout for CSI-Birchington. Eva La Rue was a blur on the pitch today, it's a surprise anyone saw enough of him to award the Man Of The Match. "You have to love this game after results like that," beamed a delighted Brian Gilbert following the match. "If there weren't such a thing as football, these lads would all be frustrated footballers." CSI-Broadstairs are doing everything right, all they need to do now is get the scoring more goals than the opposition bit right and they're in business. |
