Match Report |
After losing in this manner Touchnplay are probably wishing they'd stayed at home. If they had they might've done slightly better than the 3 - 0 drubbing dished out by Screaming Vengeance. Some idiot seems to have decided that only Corners will turn round the fortunes of Touchnplay. That idiot is Joe Bradley. Screaming Vengeance manager Gavin Stewart agreed to give Ben Crobbery ** a tenner for every goal he scored. He doubled his wages with 2 goals. The difference between the teams could have been their choice of playing style. Passing worked for Screaming Vengeance. And didn't for Touchnplay. Touchnplay's Joe Bradley experiment with the 2 5 3 formation is not giving the results he wanted. Maybe he should change it before it blows up in his face. "The thinking was that we'd start with the game at nil-nil and go out and try to get some goals," beamed the victorious Screaming Vengeance boss. "If we can play like that every week we'll get some level of consistency." Cross a skeleton with a dog and you get an animal that buries itself in the garden. On the strength of this performance, Touchnplay were buried too. |
