Match Report

If sMAshEd hadn't swiped the points with the narrowest 2 - 0 win, you'd have needed a microscope and a scalpel to separate these teams.
Corners is clearly an area that needs work in training. Unfortunately for The Enigma so are the team's other five areas.
Tate Urchips misses the sMAshEd game because he turned up at the wrong ground. He got a game for the local under-eight's team instead and bagged a hat-trick.
It was a good day at the office for sMAshEd keeper Hans Dropalot who kept a clean sheet for his side.
With both sides employing Counter Attack games, it was down to the extra inch sMAshEd were prepared to go to ensure the win.
They don't come much better than Connie Lingus whose Man Of The Match performance was breathtaking.
"They say a week is long time in politics," remarked manager Fallen Empires manager The Enigma after this defeat. "90 minutes is a long time in football. The longer it went on, the more worried I was they'd score. And look what happened."
The nature of the win might have been slimline, but there's nothing slight about the sort of pluck this sMAshEd side possesses. Onwards and upwards? We'll see.
