Match Report

Plucky Berry FC snatched a slim 8 - 6 win over a D-bay blitz side who should feel very, very unlucky indeed.
The D-bay blitz fans were calling for the head of manager Daniel A. after this game. He at least knows where his head is, unlike his arse or elbow.
Buster Cherry scored with a shot which ricocheted in off the crossbar to take his total for the match to 2 goals.
Some accurate passing saw Berry FC's counter play take apart D-bay blitz's defensive play.
There are less suitable formations for D-bay blitz's squad than 4 4 2, but Daniel A. would be advised to ignore those too.
"It goes to show there's no alternative to quality," bragged Berry FC manager Mark Saunders after the game. "Well, Daniel A.'s team found an alternative didn't they? But being dreadfully poor is no answer."
On a showing like this, Berry FC are a team who know how to hold their nerve. And how to hold on to a lead no matter how slight.
