Rathpeacon fielded a side that were clearly listing rather badly before a ball was kicked. They were duly sunk by a superior sMAshEd side in this 4 - 0 defeat. Maybe Rathpeacon should consider a varied programme of training instead of a boring Corners overkill. Rathpeacon looked so unlikely to score that sMAshEd keeper Hans Dropalot managed a snooze in the second half and still managed to keep a clean sheet. Rathpeacon 's forwards are starting to resemble a pair of nursery school scissors. They lack any real cutting edge. Rick Kleiner and Ali Gator picked a fight with the biggest guy in the crowd hoping Lewis Lummox would end their embarrassment on the pitch. They both took a beating before Lewis Lummox stepped in and, out of spite, only booked them. So easily did sMAshEd's Adam Sapple deserve his Man Of The Match status this evening, they will be asking him to open supermarkets for days. Rathpeacon boss Eamonn Hawe who must feel like his job is on the line after todays capitulation claimed: "Well, winning all the time is not necessarily good for the team." The only explanation for this defeat is that Rathpeacon thought the opposition clearly needed the points more than they did.
