Match Report
A truly abysmal performance by The Dutch Ravens saw them left with everything they deserved from this 7 - 2 defeat by Tipton Warriors - nothing.
If this is how master tactician Big Al plays a game of football, we wouldn't want to be playing him at chess!
Possession? The ball stuck to the foot of every Tipton Warriors player like glue.
The goalkeeper's trade is a lonely one. The Dutch Ravens's Hugo First is going to be shunned by his team mates, making him feel especially lonely, after this shocking performance.
The Dutch Ravens's Counter Attack game was a lesson for Tipton Warriors, if the gaffer is going to insist in sending his team to play Counter Attack in future, that's the way to do it.
The game was much applauded for the spirit in which it was played. The ref's spirit however is vodka and explains why no one was booked.
There are less suitable formations for The Dutch Ravens's squad than 3 2 5, but Robin van der Linden would be advised to ignore those too.
"It was a great win for us," Lou Sirr told the local press. "The gaffer is delighted how we've taken to winning like a duck out of water."
The Dutch Ravens took this defeat on the chin. The one thing you have to hand to them is the fact they're good losers. Face it, it's the thing they do best.
