Match Report |
Eva La Rue converted the winning goal after he went through a non-existent gap leaving him with a clear shot for CSI-Margate to break the deadlock. Whatever it is Brian Gilbert is putting in CSI-Margate's water, we'd like some. HandyMan United's Counter Attack game was a lesson for CSI-Margate, if the gaffer is going to insist in sending his team to play Counter Attack in future, that's the way to do it. When the list of suspensions reads more like the first eleven is it any wonder CSI-Margate fair so badly? CSI-Margate player Emily Proctor*** getting himself sent off didn't help one bit! Eva La Rue was the hero of the match after coming on for Liz Vassey and scoring the winner. "Their keeper played very well," offered underfire HandyMan United manager Sir Kit_Breaker. "And it wasn't the best pitch, the weather didn't help and the ref must have taken a bung, but I am not making excuses." When results fall like this you are left thinking that desire can do funny things to football teams. And we're not talking about an evening in Spearmint Rhino. |
