Match Report

The Blurred Crusade can have few complaints after they were soundly beaten by sMAshEd going down 3 - 0. If they can complain about anything it'd probably be that it was a bit cold for football. or too wet. or too dry. or too windy. or the ball was too round.
Those long hours of Defence training are paying off for the sMAshEd players.
So impressive was Alec Tricity's performance in the sMAshEd goal that his manager gave him a wet, tonguey kiss after this 3 - 0 result.
With two teams locking horns with a tactical mirror of each other's Longball style, sMAshEd claimed all three points with simply superior play.
After being scythed down in the opposition box, sMAshEd's Brice Tagg stepped up to put the resulting penalty in the back of the net with aplomb.
"I have to say this result has left me feeling as sick as the proverbial donkey," wailed Steve Kilbey. "I just wonder what would have happened if the shirt had been on the other foot."
And the music ringing in the ears of the winning manager? The fans singing 3 - 0 to the sMAshEd' as they depart.
