Match Report
Lord Romais Arms had little say in their 8 - 3 hammering at the hands of a vastly superior Adelaide Imploders side.
You could give Adelaide Imploders's defence bearskin hats and stand them in a box outside Buckingham Palace. On current form they'd defend anything.
Walter Melon didn't show for Adelaide Imploders because he was still recovering from a near-death experience in the night. He drank so much he thought he was going to die.
With a performance like this, Lord Romais Arms's Bowen Arrow gives crap keepers everywhere a good name.
It takes a good team to play the Defensive game effectively, and there was only one of those out on the pitch.
There are less suitable formations for Adelaide Imploders's squad than 5 2 3 Attacking, but Brad Mehaffey would be advised to ignore those too.
"We can beat anyone on our day so long as we score," Adelaide Imploders boss Brad Mehaffey claimed following the win.
To keep up the lame horse metaphor, Adelaide Imploders took the points at a gallop. Lord Romais Arms just looked like a lame horse.
