Match Report

There can be few more important games in which you want your side to turn on the style. Rapid Lisboa got it exactly right and by doing so landed themselves this well deserved The Champions Shield Final win.
A little more Corners and a little less Throw-ins would go a long way to improving Indigo Plateau's lot.
You'd have to try harder than Indigo Plateau to beat Rapid Lisboa keeper Peter Schmeichel 10 on this kind of form.
The Passing style was all the rage this evening. While Rapid Lisboa was made to measure, Indigo Plateau's was straight off the peg. Only one fitted properly.
... Liedson 9 and Otto Whackew 10 had an Anglo-Saxon exchange which saw them both shown the yellow card.
"Nothing that this shambles of a football team does surprises me any more," shrugged manager Stuart . after losing to Rapid Lisboa. "I'm very surprised that we rolled over so easily today."
Even if Rapid Lisboa did steal victory from under the noses of Indigo Plateau, a win is a win no matter how sour the grapes.
