Match Report

The only thing Ruff Ryders lacked in this narrow 7 - 5 defeat at the hands of Newton Strikers was an all important winning goal. It's a must-have really if you're going to win games.
Adam Turner would be more suited to training dogs, He's taught this team just roll over, play dead and start begging from the kick off.
Newton Strikers's Marcus Absent might find a few Premiership clubs sniffing around after his impressive 4-goal haul.
The difference between the teams could have been their choice of playing style. Continental worked for Newton Strikers. And didn't for Ruff Ryders.
Newton Strikers's lyndon nicholson experiment with the 2 5 3 formation is not giving the results he wanted. Maybe he should change it before it blows up in his face.
"I'm not a believer in luck," manager lyndon nicholson told the press following his side's victory, "but I do believe you need it."
Maybe the problem is that Ruff Ryders decided they could hang on for a draw to take at least a point. In football, that sort of thinking is rarely rewarded.
