Match Report
After taking a humiliating 13 - 4 hiding by Dirty Leeds on the chin at least Little Creek Town can claim to do something with style. Lose.
The Dirty Leeds defence was on form today, as Ashford And Simpson would say "Solid. Solid As A Rock."
Leo Tarred must feel shame-faced that he missed today's thumping because of a Sky TV installation.
After a game like this you wouldn't trust Little Creek Town's goalie Otto Whackew to keep goldfish.
When Dirty Leeds's defence shut up shop, they don't just lock the door, they board it up and stand an armed guard outside. What a defence.
Remarkably, not a single player incurred the wrath of the ref. The reason, it was discovered afterwards, was that the ref couldn't actually write.
Ensuring your best players get to play in their best positions is vital. 2 3 2 1 2 was a good stab, unfortunately for Jim Bain most of his squad are best on the bench.
"We ended up playing football, and that's not our style," claimed the frustrated Little Creek Town boss after his side's defeat. "It's a result that's really thrown a spanner in the fire."
The only way Little Creek Town could have hoped to stop this rampant Dirty Leeds side would have been to arm their defence with shotguns.
