Match Report
This is surely going to be one that Cookie Monster will want to put behind them as quickly as possible. To call being beaten 10 - 1 losing' would understate things slightly.
Leon Willis clearly thinks his team are the most skilled and highly tuned squad around. Why else would training be abandoned like an unwanted puppy?
It's a good job Tipton Rangers had so much possession because it was their ball and if they didn't they would have gone home.
Three-goal wonder Willie Maykit left a broken Cookie Monster team to wonder how on earth he slipped through their usually solid defence to bag a hat trick.
The Cookie Monster have no midfield of note. No engine room out on the park, which means the only way they can go is downhill.
Ensuring your best players get to play in their best positions is vital. 4 5 1 Attacking was a good stab, unfortunately for lewis joseph most of his squad are best on the bench.
"The gaffer told us it was just a case of putting all our eggs into the next 90 minutes," midfielder Chanda Lear explained following the match. "He told us to remember that there are two ways of getting the ball. One is from your own team-mates, and that's the only way."
Watching Cookie Monster is a very educational experience for their boss, Leon Willis. During games like this he reads a book.
