Match Report

It was more luck than skill that handed AFC Croydon this 9 - 4 win over Bumbles FC.
Mike Hawes must reassess his training methods - he has nothing to lose. Except probably the next game or six.
Where ever AFC Croydon went so did the ball. It was like Mary and her little lamb out there.
Bumbles FC's goalie Bo Nessround did little to thwart AFC Croydon's attack. In fact he did nothing at all. Crap.
A terrible day for Bumbles FC's midfield, they couldn't even pass wind.
Buster Jones Junior spotted some horse play in the AFC Croydon box and had no hesitation in awarding a penalty. The resulting kick was tucked away by Bumbles FC's Robin Meeblind.
"I'm not a believer in luck," manager OD Smith told the press following his side's victory, "but I do believe you need it."
Convincing the win might have been, but you get the feeling it isn't always going to be this straightforward for AFC Croydon.
