Match Report
Football can be cruel game, no more so when you are a Mousey FC side who are left wondering how they failed to take three points, or a point at least, off Willesden Wanderers who ended up with full marks instead.
The Willesden Wanderers defence was on form today, as Ashford And Simpson would say "Solid. Solid As A Rock."
Val Veeta was absent because he'd just had Sky installed and couldn't tear himself away from a fascinating documentary about whale sex.
The highlight of the game was Kent Cook completing his hat trick with a belter from his own half.
Mousey FC were left stunned by the sublime passing of Willesden Wanderers. Their only answer was to belt it up field.
Mousey FC's Alec Tricity cried like a baby when it was discovered he would be out for 2 weeks thanks to a mild concussion.
"Obviously, I'm disappointed with the result," admitted manager Adam Newton after the match. "But we're football people, not poets."
In some ways it might have been better if Mousey FC had lost 10-0, that way manager Adam Newton would have had something to shout at them about.
