| Match Report |
| Valleys Commandos played like big girls' blouses and deserved everything Arnold Town threw at them, including the goalposts and the ref. Tactics? It doesn't look as though Valleys Commandos boss Stuart Clement could even manage three Shredded Wheat at the moment. Pete Zaria missed Valleys Commandos's game because he went on a dirty weekend with the barmaid from his local. Arnold Town proved defence can be the best form of attack, were patient and used their chances well against Valleys Commandos's gung ho play. The animals went into the ark two by two for a very good reason, if there's an explanation why Valleys Commandos go out in 3 4 1 2 formation we're still looking for it. "All the Valleys Commandos team are 100% behind the manager," one player commented after this defeat. "But I can't speak for the rest of them." Back to basics then for Valleys Commandos who seemed to suffer some sort of collective brain fade when confronted by a game of football. |
